This dog is to the best of our knowledge free from communicable diseases and has been vaccinated and wormed regularly as outlined below.

1) This dog is guaranteed against any communicable diseases for five days after leaving Imagineer Kennels.  If this dog should die due to one of these diseases (Distemper, Parvo., Leptospirosis, or Parainfluenza) within five days and proof of such death has been provided by a licensed veterinarian, a full refund shall be made or the puppy shall be replaced by one of equal or greater value.  

2) This dog is guaranteed against hip dysplasia, any progressive or debilitating hereditary eye defects (i.e. juvenile cataracts or progressive retinal atrophy), and overshot (exceeding 1/8") or undershot bites.  Males are also guaranteed against monorchidism and cryptorchidism (to be determined after one year of age).  If this dog displays any of the above defects, the dog will be replaced by one of equal value when one becomes available or the purchase price may be applied towards a dog of greater value.   The affected dog must be spayed or neutered and proof from a licensed veterinarian provided before said replacement shall be given.  Any defects must be verified in writing by a licensed veterinarian.  Hip dysplasia must be confirmed (between 24 and 48 months of age) by an OFA (or equivalent) rating of borderline to severely dysplastic and proof of hip dysplasia and spay/neuter of dog provided to seller within six months of date of report.  Hereditary eye defects which do not pass a C.E.R.F. exam (before six years of age) must be confirmed by a veterinary ophthalmologist and proof of hereditary eye defect and spay/neuter of dog provided to seller within six months of date of eye exam report report.   It is important for the sellers to receive information on health clearances in a timely manner in order to weigh future breeding decisions.  This guarantee does not cover conditions occurring due to disease, accident or negligence.  

Bitches are guaranteed to be able to produce at least one litter of two or more live puppies.  Males are guaranteed to be able to produce live offspring (not sterile).  If  at least two veterinarians verify in writing that the dog or bitch, purchased by below signed buyer, can not produce live offspring then Imagineer will replace the dog with one of equal when one becomes available or purchase price may be applied towards a dog of greater value, after said affected dog has been spayed or neutered.  This guarantee does not cover conditions occurring due to disease, accident or negligence. 

Owner has two years after notifying sellers in which to receive their replacement.  

3) If this dog has been used for breeding before it has been X-rayed free from hip dysplasia by the OFA and cleared of eye defects by a veterinary ophthalmologist, then this guarantee becomes null and void.

 

4) Imagineer reserves the right to two stud services free of charge on any male dog sold under these terms in the interest of promoting the Imagineer line.

 

5) Below signed buyer agrees that they have fully considered that owning an Australian Shepherd is a long-term commitment and hereby attest that they have the time, resources and attention to devote to their dog.  Below signed buyer agrees to notify seller if at any time it should become necessary to sell or place the dog in another home.  In the event of medical emergency, extreme financial hardship or a death in the buyer’s immediate family, Imagineer will accept any dog it has sold back into its care; however, a refund will not be issued.  Should said dog be relinquished by original buyer, all health records and registration papers must be transferred to seller immediately.

 

6) This dog is registered with the Australian Shepherd Club of America and the American Kennel Club and papers will be supplied to the buyer at the time of sale or as soon as they are received from the registry.  Buyer agrees to pay for AKC and ASCA registration at time of sale.  If a registered name is not chosen by the buyer within one month of date of sale a name will be selected by the breeder for them.

 

7) The use of the name "Imagineer" is required in the dog's registered name.  If a name is not chosen by the buyer within one month of the date of sale, seller will select one for them.

 

8)  This dog is being sold with full registration (breeding privileges).  No other guarantees, implied or otherwise, are included. 

 

9)     It is the buyer's responsibility to provide proper health care, training, exercise, socialization, confinement of and development of talents for this dog.  Buyer agrees to notify seller of all titles and health clearances attained by this dog in a timely manner.
